Temple Square

This afternoon we went up to Temple Square to walk around and have a picnic lunch. Andie was fascinated with the whole thing and loved walking around looking at all the beautiful things. She even got to take home a picture of her beautiful castle! Brady was just happy to be included in the adventure as always. We had a great time and hope to go back again soon.

Here are a few lines Andie used while there:

"Ohhhh, look at the castle!" Referring to the Salt Lake Temple.

"I don't want to touch the castle Daddy." For some reason she thought we had to go up and touch the temple.

"Hey, that's where Peter Pan flies!" Pointing to the wall in the room with the Christis. It is night skies, stars and clouds. Maybe a little too many Disney movies for her!

"Jesus, he lives upstairs." After visiting the Christis in the Visitors Center

Valentines Curls

Yesterday, while Andie sat on my lap and watched TV I did her hair. She was being very good and didn't move so I decided to take it to the next level. When she finally got up, she looked next to me on the table and saw sponge curlers. She pointed to them and said, "Mommy I don't want those things today." With a sneaky smirk I said, "Oh, too late!" She reached up and felt her head full of curlers! You would have thought her entire world just collapsed around her. She started sobbing and held her hands up to her face with the most dramatic effort possible. She couldn't believe that I could have done something so terrible without her having the slightest clue. She ended up falling asleep with them in but when she woke up from her nap not a single curler remained in her hair. What a turd! Oh well, I guess you can say she got me back.

Andie touches Brady's cheek and very sweetly says, "Now look at me. We don't hit me on mymy head," as she touches her head. He wasn't even touching her!

Baby Baby Baby

Last night we went out to dinner. My gosh, it's been forever since we've gone out. We went to a Chinese restaurant called T-Bone...I know, doesn't really make a whole lot of sense but the food was GREAT. Once we drove up to the house Andie was so upset because she didn't want to go home so we drove over to Dairy Queen and got a blizzard, it only seemed fitting with the weather and all. We got home just in time for me to watch my shows and Andie snuggled with me the entire two hours. She was falling in and out of sleep but then got up to have an easier time fighting it. She played with her baby and wrapped it up in Brady's blanket and then tried to wrap herself. I helped her out and swaddled her just like I used to, then I picked her up and rocked her and sang her songs and sure enough she fell asleep! I really miss her being my little baby. I can't believe that she is 2 already. I love that she is such a snuggle bug and will let me hold her all the time, I miss it. But she is so stinkin' cute at this age and that makes it all worth it.

Hey Buddy!

Andie went to greet Brady when he woke up from his nap yesterday. They played for a good 20 minutes before I went see what was going on. This is all I could catch.

Andie was trying to go potty the other day and decided it was going to be while so she grabbed some chips to snack on during the wait!

We went to Bob and Kel's for the Superbowl (thanks guys for having us). Andie was so excited because she got to play with Cold (Cole) and Per-rison (Harrison)! That is Perrison in the background, he showed Andie how to tie the bandanna around her face. She loves her buddy!
